The Report Meeting after the End of the MFA July 20, 2004
This meeting initiated from Oxfam BZ and cooperated with WAC. The main purpose of the meeting was finding the good common methodologies for working tog ether when MFA ends, what will be the impact on the garment workers in Cambodia? A nd how to solve those problems? After the introduction, there were two garment workers narrati ng the power point about the feelings of the garment workers and how the end of the MFA will impact them.

SPEAKOUT: Sex Worker Empowerment Project 2004
The Oxfam HK/FHI/Impact Cambodia SpeakOut project is part of the larger Womyn ’ s Agenda for Change Program (WAC) implemented by Oxfam HK. The WAC program s eeks to facilitate the development of the women ’ s movement across all sectors in Cambodian society, w ith a primary focus on women at the grassroots level. The SpeakOut project is implemented in line with the FHI/Impact focus on community development and self-organisati on among sex workers. The Oxfam HK WAC program ’ s core objective is to provide a speak out process through which grassroots women can explore and analyse their feelings and insights, ar ticulate their own aspirations as women, and feel able to initiate collective mutual support action.
